I love pleated skirts.  And I especially love this one.  It is such a classic piece, and the length and fit is so great.  It is so flattering and is one of the skirts I reach for most often.  I actually wore this outfit on the first Sunday of teaching my Sunbeams class.  I wanted something that was bright and fun which is why I chose this yellow shirt that I'm obsessed with and also why I chose this color lipstick (Wet n Wild Megalast in "Cherry Picking").  I wanted to wear pieces that would help distinguish me as an adult/teacher and so I chose to wear the pleated skirt and added the belt to look more fitted and put together.  Believe it or not, some of the primary children are about my height, so I thought it would be a good idea to go with heels.  To carry all of my class supplies, and all my own children's necessities, I used a big 'ol honkin purse to hold them all (snacks, diapers & wipes, toys, and binder, etc).

Topped it off with some bold lipstick, because... you can never go wrong with lipstick.
