Hawaii trip and Outfit Details

First things first, Hawaii was SO amazing.
I was pretty excited to switch out my jackets and boots for t-shirt dresses and sandals.  The sun and warmth was refreshing.  We planned this Hawaii trip to see my older brother graduate from BYU Hawaii, and the trip was WAY too short- but I really needed this miniature vacation hahah.  I was ready to eat some good food and relax.

On the second day we were there, we watched my brother graduate, and I was SO proud of him!!  He has always been such a great example to me and I really lean on him.  When his name was called and he walked across the stage, I seriously wanted to yell "THAT'S MY BROOOOOO!!!" I wanted to cry I was so proud of him! hahah.  I love my brother so much, and I'm really glad that I can call him my best friend.  After that, we went out to eat at a place called Papa Ole's Kitchen (HIGHLY recommend- their garlic shrimp and their Kalbi ribs will not disappoint).

I wore this olive striped t-shirt dress (HERE) along with these really comfortable and very affordable sandals from Forever 21 (HERE: my color no longer available).  It's a great travel outfit, because it's chic, easy to throw on & doesn't take up a lot of room in the suitcase.  A few other options for olive t-shirt dresses can be found HERE, HERE, and HERE. As you know, I've been obsessing over olive lately.

We made a quick stop at the Hukilau beach.  My girls loved running from the water and the waves on shore.  My mom and dad were there as well and it was such a beautiful moment to see us all together having fun.  It's one of those moments that I will keep close to me and always remember.  We stayed there until Sunset.

On our last day there, we spent it with my cousins, nephews and nieces.  I haven't seen them for years and years so it was such a great time to just hang out and spend time with them.  I had so much fun with them.  They're all so talented, beautiful, and just straight up awesome.  Ladaisa, Alisiya and I got dressed up and roamed around for a bit before we had to leave.  I actually borrowed this dress (HERE) and belt (HERE) from them since my clothes were in my suitcase already.  I found some other SUPER CUTE chambray dresses HERE, HERE, and HERE.  My niece Alisiya (Thanks girl!) did my hair in these sweet dutch braids that I've been wanting to do for, like....ever but can't do because I suck at doing my hair LOL.

And... Sunset at Sunset Beach was AMAZE.  That is all.

When it was time to leave Hawaii, I didn't want to leave.  I had such a great time, great vibes, great food, great company, everything.  But I guess I'll just look forward to the next time I visit... I'll be back! ♥
